Introducing The Limelight Collection
Limelight, one of our new homeware collections, pays homage to the decadence and vibrance of Belfast’s rich musical history and culture. Named after the live music venue of the same name, which has seen an eclectic and vibrant mix of artists, from Oasis to Manic Street Preachers; as well as a host of local talent, this design promotes a positive state of mind, with nostalgic references.
With layered, playful lines in statement tones of ochre and cerise, this eye-catching design provides a contemporary take, perfect for a bold, maximalist home.
Limelight was brought to life by textile designer Mona, who was inspired by her love of music and, in particular, Belfast’s music scene.
Mona has been a music fan from an early age, and recognises local sounds such as Stiff Little Fingers and The Undertones as the defining sounds of an era, which is what she sought to reflect in her designs.
The looping lines in vibrant colours tap into a 70s trend and reflect the aesthetic of that decade, whilst the focus on movement reflects those musical influences.
The collection embraces all that is weird and wonderful with a funky 70s print in bold, statement colours, and adds an uncompromisingly bold touch to eclectic home interiors.
The 70s look offers a sense of familiarity and comfort, whilst the choice of colours create a sense of optimism.
Positive yellows energise a room, whilst bursts of cerise add that quirky and playful edge.
Add a pop of colour with your choice of comfortable and stylish bean bag chairs or pouffes; and a striking cushion collection, which would be at home in a living room, bedroom or even your home-office.
Made in Northern Ireland, using time-honoured craftsmanship, let this flamboyant design breathe life into love-worn sofas, chairs and bedding, beautifully enhancing any home to opulent new heights.
