Rosina Wachtmeister was born in Vienna, Austria in 1939. She spent a number of years living in South America before returning to Europe, to Italy in 1967 with her daughter Gabila. She now lives in a village, north of Rome. Rosina is famous for her warm, shining colours and love of animals, especially cats. Ulster Weavers transfer Rosina’s distinctive artwork onto kitchen textiles and bags which appeals to the artists numerous fans, cat lovers and many other besides.
