Ulster Weavers in Online Move

Textiles company Ulster Weavers has invested £70,000 in an online venture. "We hesitated selling our product directo to consumers in the past because we simply didn't want to conflict with our retail and e-tail customers who were doing just that," Managing Director Kenneth Webb said, "But we recieve thousands of requests from consumers each year so we decided that only a branded and controlled website with a world-class distibution system would allow the end consumer to fully enjoy the ethos of the Ulster Weavers product and service." Origin Partners, also based in Holywood, has been engaged to develop the website.
